Terms of Service

1. Who we are

10xCareer.ai (“Service”) is operated by Social Protocol Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email, in-product notice, or both.

2. The Service

10xCareer.ai provides AI-assisted career assessment, coaching, job-search, and training tools. The Service includes free features and one-time paid products. Some features use third-party AI providers, currently OpenAI and Google Gemini, to generate outputs from the content you submit.

AI-generated insights, scores, salary projections, and recommendations are informational estimates only. They do not constitute professional career counseling, financial advice, or employment guarantees. The “10x” name, income examples, and before/after projections are not promises that you will obtain any particular job, raise, salary, interview, or career outcome. Individual results vary.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information. Notify us immediately at legal@10xcareer.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Payment

Paid services are billed in US dollars and processed by Stripe. You agree to pay all fees for the product you select. Current paid products include the Career Assessment, Gift Assessment, FDE Career Primer, Interview Prep, and Apply with AI credits. Pricing shown at checkout controls. 6. Gift Assessments

A Gift Assessment is purchased by one person (the “Purchaser”) for another (the “Recipient”). The following additional terms apply:

• What’s included. One Premium Career Assessment, three AI Coach sessions, and one 30-minute family strategy call with a career coach, delivered as a unique redemption link.
• Age requirement. The Recipient must be 18 or older at the time of redemption and must confirm this before starting the assessment. If we discover the Recipient is under 18 we will suspend the assessment, delete associated personal information where appropriate, and issue a full refund to the Purchaser.
• Redemption window. Gift codes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unredeemed codes expire automatically and cannot be extended.
• Refunds. The Purchaser may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the gift has not been redeemed. Once the Recipient redeems the gift, no refund is available. See Refund Policy.
• Non-transferable. Gift codes are tied to the Recipient email address provided at checkout and cannot be transferred. Contact support before redemption if the email needs to change.
• Privacy. The Recipient’s assessment results are private. We do not share them with the Purchaser unless the Recipient explicitly opts in. The Purchaser receives only: purchase confirmation, redemption notification, and (if the Recipient consents) a summary the Recipient chooses to share.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Submit another person's personal information without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without written permission
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or inject prompts into AI features to produce harmful or policy-violating output
• Resell or redistribute the Service

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Social Protocol Labs LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit, including resumes, profile text, job descriptions, questionnaire answers, uploaded files, and chat messages. By submitting content you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display it as reasonably necessary to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

We do not sell your submitted content or use its substance for our own marketing. We do not permit AI providers to train on your submitted content except as required to provide their services to us under their business terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIAL PROTOCOL LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA, INTERRUPTION OF THE SERVICE, OR CAREER DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION FROM THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Social Protocol Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account by emailing legal@10xcareer.ai.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

14. Dispute resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Delaware.
